  • Persistence

During my studies, I had the opportunity to diversify my skillset by taking an elective in Unreal Engine. The task presented was to create a prototype of choice using the engine and as many of its features as possible. I carried out this elective twice, with the second foray requiring more extensive use of the software, thus resulting in more features learned.

On my first time taking this elective, I used the blueprint system to create a small puzzle game, where the player needs to roll coloured balls into the correct positions to unlock doors that lead to the next level. Successive levels introduced color mixing and/or requiring multiple balls of the same color to fulfill the puzzle's win condition.

The second prototype I made used C++ programming to create my own version of Google Chrome's Dinosaur game.
