During the final year of my Game Development studies, I conducted a group project on behalf of Dutch company VRelax, which develops and distributes VR products for companies to promote relaxation in the workplace.

The group's task was to create one such scene in VR, which would change based on the user's stress levels (Heart Rate Variability). To that end, we developed a Zen Garden in a floating island, similar to those one can find in Japan. The user can move around in the scene and interact with various items to generate relaxing effects and sound effects. Should the user's stress levels reach a certain level, breathing exercises are introduced to help lower that.

I took on the role of programming lead for this project, making it my responsibility to uphold a programming backlog of what was required for this project, and maintain the GitHub repository for the project and manage/merge branches. In addition, I provided my teammates with tutorials and hands-on help with any programming tasks they were assigned, as it was a requirement for the project to show evidence of work in every department. I also did work on other departments of the project to fulfill that requirement (3D modelling, research, sound design, user testing)
